How does the opt out work?
An “opt-out” cookie is made available by AdMaxim that you may download to your browser. When installed on your browser this cookie will delete Viewer Data that we use for Ad targeting from your browser and will instruct AdMaxim’s system (1) not to store any of this data in the future and (2) not to use any remaining Viewer Data we have to target Ads to you in the future. Please note that AdMaxim also collects, stores and uses Viewer Data for fraud prevention and detection and to document transactions for invoicing and commission purposes. Using AdMaxim’s opt-out option will not prevent us from collecting, storing or using Viewer Data for these purposes.
AdMaxim’s opt-out option is cookie-based. www.fulmira.com It only works on the browser on which it is installed, and it will only function if your browser is set to accept third-party cookies. If you delete an opt-out cookie from a browser’s cookie files, AdMaxim will resume storing Viewer Data on that browser and using that Viewer Data for Ad targeting purposes until a new opt-out cookie is set on that browser.
